The strongest, most effective ballast brush for sale in the UK today. This is an outstanding piece of engineering that extends the original boundaries of brushing to new limits.

A special one off double brush called The Animal, was built for the specific problem of over-stoning. It has a double broom assembly feeding into a mutual conveyor. The first drum skims off the top layer of stone, whilst the second one finishes off down to sleeper tops. Ballast stone up to and over rail head is cleaned in one pass with The Animal. Richter & Muller are happy to discuss individual customer requirements.
